Activities

Hello, its me again.

Ceredigion has many activities to offer. Whether you like walking, cycling, angling, bird watching, horse riding, taking a trip on a steam railway or visiting museums and other attractions or even just lying on a beach, there's something for everyone to see and do.

Walking

There are many other opportunities to explore the region by foot.

The long distance footpath from Borth to Devils Bridge passes through a number historic former mining areas and is soon to be extended to the village of Pontrhydfendigaid.

Caution: Abandoned mine sites are very dangerous places and must be treated with caution and respect. Please read the Safety and Countryside Code sections before venturing near an old mine site

Cycling

Cycling is an ideal way to explore rural villages and old mining areas.

Ceredigion offers excellent facilities for cyclists both on and off road, with many miles of National Cycle Network routes and Mountain bike trails.
