Seven new routes have been developed with funding from Spirit of Miners in the Uplands area of Ceredigion and form significant links in the strategic network of routes Ceredigion has been developing over recent years.
Two new linear trails build on the connection previously established
Borth to Devils Bridge. A new 10km (6 miles) path climbs from Devil's Bridge before descending to Cwm Ystwyth and proceeding to Pontrhydygroes through the grounds of Hafod. The second linear extension of 13km (8miles) links Pontrhydygroes with Pontrhydfendigaid.
• The remaining five circular trails emanate from settlements and sites of environmental, industrial, historic and cultural significance. These settlements include
Bontgoch,
Cwmsymlog,
Nant Yr Arian,
Devil's Bridge and
Talybont.
Route maps and detailed directions are available as a pdf with accompanying narratives supplying environmental, historic and cultural details
